    • French and Indian War
      A Samuel Dutton was listed as part of Captain Preston's Thirteenth Company of Col. Lyman's Regiment, enlisted March 26, 1757 and discharged Nov 23, 1757. They were most likely at Fort William Henry during the French siege of early August 1757 experienced the Indian massacre that occurred after the surrender of the fort. This Samuel is most likely the son of Samuel.
