- FAMILY RECORDS
I am assuming that Elizabeth (of Hereford Township) who married Jonas Fetzer in January 1819 is the daughter of Elias and Barbara, born about 1793 (assuming she was born just before Barbara's death in about 1794. The only other Ritz living in Hereford Township in 1820 besides Elias was John Ritz (son of John Peter and too young to have Elizabeth as a daughter). I have not found additional records of Jonas and Elizabeth.

[My attempt at a translation]
Northampton
The 28th January 1819
Marriages
At last Sunday by Esquire Schuler, Mr. Jonas Fetzer, of Montgomery County, with Miss Elisabeth Ritz, of Hereford Township, Berks County.
The paper's date of 28 Jan 1819 is a Thursday, so the "Sunday last" is the prior Sunday of 24 Jan which is Jan 17, 1819. The newspaper says the marriage occurred in Northampton county which is North of Lehigh county (formed from Northampton in 1812).
- CENSUS RECORDS
1820 Stroud, Northampton Co., PA
An Elizabeth Setzer is listed as over 25. Did Jonas die a year after their wedding? This is probably not our Elizabeth since Jonas Fetzer was listed in Elias' probate records (1832) as having a note due.

Elias Ritz 1835
The living children of Elias is listed in the Orphans Court Docket record but this Elizabeth is not mentioned (she had married Jonas Fetzer 16 years prior to Elias' death). Did she die without any children prior to 1835?
